Cloud DNS
DNS services delivered through a cloud control plane, including authoritative hosting, recursive resolution, private zones, traffic management, and security policy. The data plane may be provider-managed and globally distributed.
Cloud IPAM
Address planning and lifecycle management integrated with cloud accounts, virtual networks, subnets, and interfaces. It often reconciles provider inventory with an enterprise source of truth.
Instance address
An address associated with a cloud compute instance or virtual network interface. It may be private, public, ephemeral, static, primary, secondary, or translated depending on the provider.
Private hosted zone
A cloud-managed authoritative zone visible only within associated virtual networks, accounts, or resolver endpoints. Connectivity and resolver rules determine who can query it.
Tenant
An administrative partition for a customer, business unit, environment, or application. Tenants may have isolated permissions, zones, address spaces, VRFs, and policies.
